Skipper ahoy! The Spreekanal in the old bed!

In the future, ships and boats in the Spreekanal in front of the Schlossbrücke will once again be able to use its full width - even the last diaphragm wall has been dismantled and the bank wall has been restored. The dismantling work for the cofferdam built in 2012 began in November last year and has now been completed. For this purpose, the diaphragm wall was most recently sawn up with the help of divers. The reinforced concrete parts weighing several tons were excavated and the bank wall was restored to the condition we found in 2010.
