The starry sky is shining!
In order to ensure that the underground trains can pass through without any problems on December 4th, the finishing work is going at full speed, especially on the platform area in the Museumsinsel underground station. That's why the greatest progress can be observed there and the latest one is a very special highlight: the starry sky is shining!
Work on the starry sky began at the beginning of the year with the installation of the substructure. Most recently, the sky was painted in its characteristic Schinkel blue and now it can shine in all its glory.
Progress is also being made away from the starry sky. Among other things, the design of the rear track walls has already been incorporated, which passengers will be able to admire from December 4th, when the trains will still pass through here. The finishing has not yet been completed everywhere as it has been at the platforms. There is still a lot to do in the access area before the station opens next summer.
